Volkswagen is already planning to produce up to 330,000 e-cars a year at its passenger car plant in Zwickau. At the beginning of 2020, Europe's largest carmaker will launch the new e-car I.D. produce. Volkswagen will only have to spend 1.2 billion euros on the conversion of the passenger car plants in Zwickau, Emden and Hanover.
